Since August 10 for entry into Russia the owners of the document of the alien of Latvia and Estonia who didn’t have in the past of nationality of the USSR, namely — been born after February 6, 1992, and also their minor children, have to have the Russian visa.
For the aliens of Latvia and Estonia who were born till February 6, 1992 and their minor children the visa to entrance on the territory of the Russian Federation isn’t required.
Visa-free entrance of the stateless persons consisting in nationality of the USSR is defined by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 977 of June 17, 2008. “About an order of entry into the Russian Federation and departure from the Russian Federation the stateless persons consisting in nationality of the USSR and living in the Republic of Latvia and the Estonian Republic”.
